There will be delivery impacts today to postcodes:
o 2775 due to flooding
o 2478, 2541, 2582, 2800, 2871 due to staffing issues.
QLD
Deliveries
There will be delivery impacts today to postcodes:
o 4562, 4727 due to road closures
o 4825 due to a mechanical breakdown of a truck which resulted in the late arrival to the Delivery Centre
o 4551 due to staffing issues
o Toombul Post Office will be closed for the next 6 months due to flooding.
We continue to have staffing issues due to impacts of COVID-19. There may be some delays however any service impacts will be minimised.

There may be some delays at Annandale Road, Minchinbury, Brisbane and Perth depots due to late arrival of freight.

QLD
Flooding and extreme weather conditions across Queensland are impacting our ability to transport mail and parcels, resulting in some delivery delays.
• Due to localised flooding in Brisbane and Toowoomba, the Warrego Highway is closed resulting in the Toowoomba area being cut off from Brisbane.
• There are road network disruptions on the Bruce Highway in Bowen and Flinders Highway in Charters Towers (west of Townsville to Mount Isa).
• Lismore received a lot of rain overnight and more rain is expected in the coming days.
• There is a container held in Rockhampton due to rail network disruptions between Townsville and Cairns.
• Service delays are to be expected in Townsville and Brisbane due to staffing issues.
• There may be some delivery delays due to ongoing sorter issues at the Darra facility in Queensland.
• Heavy rain and flooding are disrupting services in impacted areas of Queensland.

QLD
Flooding and extreme weather conditions across Queensland are impacting our ability to transport mail and parcels, resulting in some delivery delays in the following areas:
• The highways from Brisbane to Toowoomba are closed
• The highway between Miles and Roma is currently closed
• Charleville (CHV) – no service
• Gatton (GAT) – no service
• Toowoomba (TWB) – no service
• Stanthorpe (STN) – no service
• Warwick (WCK) – no service
• Goondiwindi (GND) – minimal impact, localised flooding to some roads
• Chinchilla (CNC) – minimal impact, localised flooding to some roads

Truck fire in New South Wales
On Sunday 8 May, a truck caught fire near Jerilderie NSW. The truck was en route to Melbourne from Brisbane Parcel Facility.
Approximately 986 parcels were not recoverable.

Startrack Air network
• Overnight, we commenced operations with a full Sydney South Westerly Scenario contingency due to the strong southerly winds forecast for Sydney. This resulted in a number of planned cancellations and retimed sectors:
o A 737 aircraft remained grounded in Brisbane with the cancellation of the Brisbane-Melbourne-Brisbane-Melbourne sectors. These sectors are being recovered via road linehaul.
o A 146 aircraft based on the Gold Coast was grounded. The Gold Coast-Sydney-Melbourne-Sydney-Gold Coast sectors were subsequently cancelled. These sectors are being recovered via a combination of PAX flights via Brisbane and road linehaul.
• With Anzac Day long weekend ahead, the next planned freighter aircraft operations will resume on Tuesday 26 April.
Customer Collections
All customer collections for Road Express and Premium will halt for the Anzac weekend for customers who currently have weekend collections.
Covid restrictions in terms of isolation requirements have eased across all states. As requirements change frequently, always check your state/territory health department website for the latest information.

National Air Network Update
• Due to engineering issues, a 737 aircraft which was planned to return to service, was grounded. This resulted in the late cancellation of four sectors, Melbourne-Sydney-Melbourne and Melbourne-Launceston-Melbourne. Freight for Tasmania is being recovered on alternate freighter and PAX services. The Melbourne-Sydney-Melbourne sector is being recovered via a combination of PAX and road linehaul.
• With the Easter long weekend ahead, the next scheduled freighter operation is scheduled for the evening of Tuesday 19 April.
• Due to staffing issues with Qantas and Air New Zealand over the weekend (9-10 April), two charter flights from Melbourne to New Zealand did not operate. In addition, there are no charter flights out of Melbourne this week. At this stage, there may be some delivery delays of items from Wednesday 6 April until Monday 18 April. Our teams are working hard to minimise any service impacts where possible. We will continue to provide updates on impacts and management as we work through the situation over the coming days.
SA & ACT

StarTrack
• We continue to experience staffing issues due to COVID-19 and the requirements to isolate. Impacted sites include Annandale Road, Botany, Worth Street Chullora (MRP) and Brisbane depots.
• To support creating additional capacity within the StarTrack Express network, including service improvements, streaming specific consignments/items to the Australian Post network will commence today.
• This will include:
o Local to local freight only from Minchinbury, Annandale Rd and Darra
o Residential and business consignments
o Freight suitable to the Australia Post contractor network e.g. 1 of 1 consignment with a weight up to 10kgs.

• There may be some delays at Geelong depot due to staffing issues.
• The backlog of freight at the Lismore depot will be cleared in the coming days. Some areas in the Lismore area continue to be unserviceable due to the recent floods.
We continue to experience staffing issues due to COVID-19 and the requirements to isolate. Impacted sites include Darra, Perth and Geelong depots.
NSW
• Flooding and extreme weather conditions across the Northern Rivers region in New South Wales are slowly improving.
• Mullumbimby, Lismore and Alstonville delivery centres are not operational with no or limited access. All other facilities are operational.
• A pop-up site at Milperra has been set up to work through backlog of parcels for Lismore. Parcels will be despatched in chronological order.
• The Pacific Highway has reopened with two lanes and road conditions will be reviewed this morning to determine recommencement of transport.
• StarTrack deliveries of Lismore freight have been suspended with freight stored in Coffs Harbour.
• Contingency plans are in place and teams are monitoring the situation hourly.

• Due to flooding in Western Australia, the Great Northern Highway from Mount Magnet to Paynes Find remains closed. There is no detour available with no set date for the road reopening at this stage. There are delivery delays in the following postcodes: 6612, 6638, 6640, 6642, 6721, 6725, 6728, 6743, 6751, 6753.
